Shop our Target Registry
With nearly 100 men, women and children staying with us each night, there are always items that we are in need of to keep our shelters running. You can help provide these items and meet the needs of those we serve by shopping our Target Community Registry!
Donate Clothing
After you’ve finished cleaning out your closets, we are happy to take that extra clothing off of your hands! We accept clothing and shoes for men, women and children. We also accept jewelry, outerwear, ties, purses, and other clothing accessories.
Donate Household Items
Your donations may be sold at our Thrift Store where all proceeds will go towards supporting City Mission programs. Other items might be given to our residents as they move from shelters to their own apartments. Click below to view donation guidelines and learn more.
Organize a Collection
Gather a group of friends or loved ones, spread the word, and benefit the men, women and children in need that come to City Mission each day. The organization of a drive or collection with your group will help transform lives!
Planned Giving
To help you get started on your plans and legacy, City Mission has partnered with FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating a legally valid will or trust. It’s easy to use, accessible online and can be completed in 20 minutes.

Mail In Your Donation
To mail your donation to us, please fill out the form by clicking the button below and include it with your gift. Checks can be made payable to “City Mission of Schenectady.” Please mail all gifts to: City Mission PO Box 760 Schenectady, NY 12301.
